Hawkesbury
The Hawkesbury Collection is inspired by the winding beauty of one of New South Wales’s iconic waterways. Drawing from the river’s meandering curves, this collection features a pendant and earrings that echo the Hawkesbury’s graceful turns.
At the heart of each piece is an exquisite Broken Bay (NSW) grown Australian Akoya pearl, cultivated in the pristine waterways of the lower Hawkesbury River. This design, set in a sterling silver and yellow gold vermeil setting, captures the essence of the river’s rhythm and celebrates the precious treasures nurtured in the heart of this iconic river.

What is the inspiration behind the Hawkesbury collection?
The Hawkesbury collection is inspired by the lower Hawkesbury River, where our Broken Bay Pearl Farm is located. This waterway, flows through lush estuaries and winding channels, creating a deeply serene landscape.
This collection aims to capture the river's twists and turns, and the quiet power of water as it meanders toward the sea.
What type of pearls are used in the Hawkesbury pieces?
The Hawkesbury collection features Australian Akoya pearls, which are cultivated at our own Broken Bay Pearl Farm in NSW.
These Akoya pearls are known for their incredible lustre and vibrant overtones, and totally natural in both - just like nature intended.
Each piece comes with its own Certificate of Authenticity stating details around its origins, size, shape, surface and setting.
How does the Hawkesbury collection connect to the region?
Beyond its aesthetic inspiration, the collection is deeply rooted in the story of this NSW region.
Oysters grown on the lower Hawkesbury, including Australian Akoya pearls, thrive in the river's nutrient rich waters.
This estuarine ecosystem is central to our sustainable pearling practices, and through our jewellery we celebrate this living waterway and its ongoing important to local biodiversity.
