The Mangrove Lily thrives in the tidal areas of NSW and symbolises nature’s adaptability to the dynamic coastal environment. The dense roots of mangroves help to bind and build the soils of our coastal region and are some of the most efficient carbon sequestration substrates (‘blue carbon sinks’) on the planet.
