These modern Ebb Pearl Stud Earrings feature a pair of 7mm AA grade Broken Bay (NSW) grown Australian Akoya pearls set in sterling silver and gold vermeil and butterfly earring backs.

Shaped by the tidal movements of our pearl farms in Cygnet Bay (WA) and Broken Bay (NSW), the Ebb collection captures the quiet power of the ocean in retreat. Soft curves and high-polish surfaces mirror the sun's reflection and patterns left in the sand.

Featuring lustrous Australian-grown Mother of Pearl, South Sea and Akoya pearls set in sterling silver and gold vermeil, these designs speak to nature’s ability to sculpt, soften and reveal

Care Guide

To care for your sterling silver and gold vermeil jewellery, avoid exposure to harsh chemicals like cosmetics, sunscreen, sanitiser, perfumes, detergents, hairsprays, and cleaning products.

It’s best to avoid showering, sleeping, swimming or playing sports whilst wearing your silver or gold vermeil jewellery as these activities could cause accidental damage and scratches.

Regular care should be taken to avoid build-up of dirt, tarnish, and smudges on jewellery. Tarnish is a natural occurrence and is caused by a chemical reaction when your jewellery encounters air, skin, oil and everyday chemicals. Gold vermeil may also fade over time. This can leave your jewellery looking discoloured and dull; however, this can be prevented with proper maintenance and care.

For at home care, we recommend using a polishing cloth after each wear. Lightly polish across the silver or gold vermeil but be careful to avoid the pearl. This will remove light tarnish, smudges and dirt. If you find your jewellery has a build-up of tarnish, you will need to take it to your nearest Pearls of Australia location for a clean or contact us to return to our headoffice.

We recommend storing your Pearls of Australia jewellery in a cool, dry place, as humidity and a damp environment can cause damage over time and potentially cause your jewellery to tarnish more quickly. The best thing for gold vermeil and sterling silver jewellery is for you to wear it! Just be sure to take the necessary steps to care for your piece to ensure it keeps shining.

Our gift boxes are not suitable for long term story, humidity and other factors can cause jewellery to tarnish over time.
