Submerge

Inspired by the anchor links submerging into the ocean, the Submerge collection captures the fluid motion of the sea and sparkling reflection of light dancing on the waves.  

The design features a paperclip chain necklace and bracelet, with our Cygnet Bay (WA) grown Australian South Sea pearls and white diamonds set on select clips.  

Honouring the rich history and heritage of pearling, Submerge reflects the timeless relationship between the ocean and the pearls it nurtures. Each piece pays tribute to the pursuit of pearling, continuing a tradition of craftsmanship passed down through the generations.

What is the inspiration behind the Submerge jewellery collection?

Submerge draws inspiration from the bold geometry of the 1920s Art Deco design era. The collection reinterprets this ear's clean lines and structured form through modern pearling heritage, pairing our Australian South Sea pearls with refined metalwork and complemented by sparkling diamonds that echo the glamour of the 1920s era.

Why does the Submerge collection feature paperclip chain links?

The paperclip chain links represent anchor chains found on pearling vessels, symbolising the connection to the water and the act of "submerging" beneath the surface of our ocean farms.

Their elongated, repeating shapes also pay homage to the Art Deco style. Select links feature pave set diamonds, adding a subtle sparkle reflecting the light dancing on the waves where our Pinctada maxima pearl shell float beneath the surface of our Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm.

How do the South Sea pearls enhance the look of the Submerge pieces?

Pearls were a signature element of the 1920s, with ladies wearing iconic pearl strand necklaces and bracelets.
